The world’s best hotel brands are expanding even further over the next year with some stunning new hotels to experience.
Here’s a sample of the new luxury and boutique hotels that will open during 2023.
New London Hotels Opening in 2023
Raffles London at The OWO
London’s first Raffles hotel is set to open Spring/Summer 2023, located in the landmark Grade II listed former Old War Office on Whitehall.
The OWO is set to be a new culinary destination with 9 restaurants and 3 bars, including 3 signature restaurants from renowned chef Mauro Colagreco.
There will also be a rooftop bar with views across Whitehall, The Mall and Buckingham Palace.
The Peninsula London
Overlooking Hyde Park Corner and the Wellington Arch, The Peninsula London will open in Spring/Summer 2023.
The newly built hotel will include an expansive inner courtyard, a restaurant from chef Claude Bosi, a Peninsula Spa, nine retail boutiques and a grand ballroom.
The 131 guest rooms and 59 suites will have floor-to-ceiling windows, views of the London skyline, and interiors from architect and designer, Peter Marino.
The hotel will also have 25 residences.
Broadwick Soho
Broadwick Soho is a 57 room hotel with a Sicilian inspired restaurant and terrace, rooftop lounge, intimate dining room and speakeasy bar.
The residential style guest rooms, including one penthouse and nine suites, are all individually designed, with many rooms offering private balconies.
Conceived by a group of friends, who wanted to create a hideaway in Soho, the hotel will offer sanctuary and a place for fun, where all are welcome.
The Emory
The Emory is the latest hotel to open in London from the Maybourne Hotel Group, sister hotel to Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley.
The Emory, designed by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour of architectural firm RSHP, is set to open winter 2023 in Knightsbridge next to The Berkeley.
The hotel will have a guest-only rooftop with dramatic 360 degree views of London
Mandarin Oriental Mayfair
Set to open in the spring on Hanover Square, the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair will be a discreet and intimate sister property to the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
The hotel will offer 50 guestrooms and an additional 78 private residences.
Mandarin Oriental Mayfair will also be home to the first UK restaurant by award-winning chef, Akira Back.

100 Princes Street
100 Princes Street will open in Edinburgh later this year, led by the design team behind Ashford Castle in Ireland and Xigera Safari Lodge in Botswana.
Focusing on an ‘anything, anytime’ approach, the hotel will have 30 guest rooms and suites, many with views of Edinburgh Castle.
The residents-only “Explorers’ Club” will immerse guests in a truly Scottish experience, culturally inspired design and signature dishes.
W Edinburgh
The W Edinburgh is set to open its doors in late 2023. Designed by the same architects behind the W London, the 12 storey building will feature 234 rooms and suites.
There will be a SUSHISAMBA restaurant on the rooftop with 360-degree views across the city.
New Worldwide Hotels Opening in 2023
Son Net, Mallorca
Just a 20-minute drive from Palma in the foothills of the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana Mountains, Son Net is a stylishly understated, art-filled hideaway on a private Mallorcan estate dating back to 1672.
Son Net relaunches in early Spring 2023 from the team behind the fabulous Finca Cortesin in Andalucia (a personal favourite).
With just 31 suites, the property will be an intimate retreat in Mallorca.
Expect something special.
Six Senses Rome
Six Senses Rome, opening in March, is located in a palazzo in the centre of Rome, moments away from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.
The hotel will have 96 guest rooms and suites, a spa, restaurant, outdoor courtyard garden and rooftop terrace with a 360° view of the city and monuments.
The Rome EDITION
Expected to open in early 2023, The Rome EDITION is located in the city’s historic centre, a few steps from Via Veneto and within a short walk of all the famous sites.
The hotel will feature 93 guest rooms and suites, including two Penthouses each with a private terrace, a rooftop terrace with views off the city overlooking the city, a rooftop swimming pool, a hi-tech gym, and spa treatment rooms.
Conrad Orlando
The Conrad Orlando will open with 533 rooms, 51 of which will be suites. The hotel is at the heart of a billion dollar new resort development that features an eight-acre public lagoon with 20 acres of tropical beach, plus two 18-hole golf courses.
The whole development borders Walt Disney World and will open in the autumn.
Park Hyatt Marrakech
Part of the Al Maaden development outside of the Medina, the Park Hyatt will offer a retreat 10-15 minutes away from the city, when it opens in early 2023.
The Park Hyatt Marrakech will have 181 rooms, built in clusters around communal courtyards, as well as 45 private villas with private pools.
The Peninsula Istanbul
Opening early in 2023 and set along the banks where east meets west, The Peninsula Istanbul will welcome guests to a waterfront property in Istanbul’s historic Karaköy district.
Featuring classical-inspired architecture, The Peninsula Istanbul will offer 177 opulent guestrooms and suites furnished with bespoke furnishings and original art.
Guest will enjoy sweeping water views, lush, landscaped gardens, a rooftop restaurant, spa, and an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Bosphorus.
The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, California
The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, from Auberge Hotels, is located in the Santa Barbara area and will start welcoming guests from February 2023.
Set on a historic piece of land populated with old-growth palm trees and close to the many nearby vineyards, the The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern originally served as a popular stagecoach stop.
The residence will feature 67 luxury rooms and cottages that blend the simplicity of modern farmhouse design with the eclectic style of nearby ranches.
The amenities will include an open-air restaurant, outdoor pool, and a serene spa.
Rosewood Munich
Rosewood Munich will be located across two landmark buildings – the old headquarters of the State Bank of Bavaria and a former aristocratic residence.
The 132 guestrooms and suites will reflect the property’s grand exterior with classically inspired décor laced with plenty of contemporary touches.
The hotel will offer a full-service spa, pool and a gym, and two dining areas when it opens in late 2023.
Atlantis the Royal, Dubai
The Atlantis The Royal is spread across six interconnecting towers, with a 295-ft Skypool running the entire length.
795 rooms will be spread across 43 stories, with 17 restaurants and bars to choose from.
There will also be a lavish Nobu beach club, a waterpark and a fire-and-water fountain.
Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort
Located on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, Kona Village will open in summer 2023.
The resort will span 81 acres of stunning geologic landscape and draw inspiration from the history of the site, local culture, and natural elements to deliver a distinctively Hawaiian experience.
W Sydney
Opening in the Autumn of 2023, W Sydney will feature 585 guestrooms, suites, and studio suites, a two-story rooftop bar, a heated infinity pool, spa, gym, all-day dining restaurant, and a bar.
