A new restaurant at Claridge’s, Michelin starred Yannick Alleno opens at the Four Seasons Park Lane, Tom Sellars opens at the new 1 Hotel Mayfair and Tomos Parry comes to Soho with his new restaurant ‘Mountain’.

Claridge’s Restaurant

Claridge’s Restaurant has opened its art deco doors with the stunning interiors pictured below.

The classically inspired but contemporary British restaurant offers an all day à la carte menu overseen by chef Coalin Finn.

Starters include buckwheat crumpets with soubise cream, truffle puree and slices of truffle and Dorset snails with parsley and parmesan croute. 

For mains, dishes include whole wild turbot grenobloise to share, artichoke agnolotti, and grilled native lobster with crushed Jersey royals and sauce Américaine. 

While the restaurant is currently open with limited hours and availability, it will be fully open in September. 

Dovetale at 1 Hotel Mayfair

Dovetale by two Michelin Starred chef Tom Sellers opens this month at the new 1 Hotel Mayfair.

The restaurant promises to harmonise ‘timeless hospitality and passionate ambition’ and offer ‘a sustainably minded, produce led a la carte menu of reimagined classics.’

Mountain

Mountain is a new restaurant in Soho from Tomos Parry, the chef-owner of restaurant ‘Brat’ in Shoreditch. The menu will be inspired by Spanish cuisine and the concept of ‘mar y montaña’ (sea and mountains). 

The wood grill and wine bar will feature a restaurant with 60 covers upstairs with large windows the length of the building and a counter bar crafted from English elm.

Downstairs will be a bar seating a further 40, as well as an on-site bakery.

Pavyllon 

Pavyllon opens on Saturday 1st July at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane from multi Michelin starred chef Yannick Alléno.

The new restaurant will bring Chef Yannick’s refined neighbourhood dining style to London, offering a British expression of his signature modern French dishes within one of Mayfair’s most prestigious addresses.

Sushi Kanesaka

Sushi Kanesaka is a 13-seat sushi counter that opens this month at 45 Park Lane.

The high-end omakase menu is designed by celebrated sushi chef, Shinji Kanesaka, and will be built around sushi with a focus on delicacies.

64 Old Compton Street

A new neighbourhood Italian restaurant, 64 Old Compton Street, opens in Soho on 3 July.

Sister restaurant to the nearby 40 Dean Street, 64 Old Compton Street will serve a simple, appealing menu of classic Italian dishes, affordably priced.

The menu is divided into three sections: Cold, Fritti & Baked; Pizzas & Salads; and Pasta, Risotto & Oven.

Luci

Luci is a new Italian bakery, café and pizzeria in The Yards, Covent Garden.

Inspired by grand Milanese cafes, Luci will be open all day and evening for freshly made Italian pastries, pizza and pasta, headed up by ex-Princi chef, Andrea Presenti.

Battersea Power Station food hall

A new food hall will open in Battersea Power Station this month offering two bars, three restaurants, and a host of new food brands developed by restaurateurs JKS.

The restaurants include Manna, a US-style burger restaurant, TĀ TĀ Eatery, a grilled chicken and steak, and BAO.

Fish Game

Fish Game is the new restaurant from Roberto Costa, the man behind several Italian restaurants across London.

Situated in Canary Wharf, this new restaurant will offer a seasonal, daily changing menu of the best British fish and game, cooked simply over charcoal.

123V Bakery and Studio Gauthier

Chef Alexis Gauthier is bringing two new restaurants to Fitzrovia, both of which will champion vegan food.

Located in the BFI Stephen Street building, the 123V Bakery will be at the front and the main restaurant at the back.
