New London Restaurant Openings – November 2015
The Garden Terrace at Rosewood London
Rosewood London’s new all-year garden terrace, located in the hotel’s inner courtyard, will open in November.
Changing with the seasons, from now until February the terrace will feature heated benches and plenty of blankets to keep you warm during winter. Hot buttered rum, spiced Somerset cider, mulled wine and British whiskeys can be enjoyed with a menu of sharing hotpots.
Urban Coterie
Urban Coterie is a new Shoreditch restaurant created by Searcys in collaboration with Anthony Demetre.
The menu will be ‘a celebration of all things British’ and the Sky Bar will overlook the London skyline. The Urban Coterie Private Members’ Club will be opening on the 16th floor later this year.
MK Bar & Grill
The newly launched MK Bar & Grill in busy Gloucester Road is a contemporary brasserie and bar serving food that spans the British Isles and western Europe, highlighting classic brasserie dishes.
Diners can sit at pavement tables (up to 26 seats) throughout the year. Inside, it’s a 100-seat restaurant with a mix of booth and banquette seating, as well as a bar seating up to 38.
José Pizarro
Spanish chef José Pizarro‘s third restaurant opened earlier this year in the new Broadgate Circle development in The City, just behind Liverpool Street station. The 65 cover restaurant also has an outside terrace for alfresco dining.
José prides himself on his attention to cooking wonderfully fresh, simple, seasonal Spanish food using only the best ingredients.

Pizza Pilgrims
Pizza Pilgrims are opening a brand new pizzeria on Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell. The 40-cover restaurant has a retro feel with a ‘Pizza Box Art Gallery’ on the walls, arcade machines and a 1990s playlist.
At lunchtimes they will be serving a soup menu from a market stall, alongside their usual take away pizzas.
German Gymnasium
D&D London is to open a series of cafés, restaurants and bars at the German Gymnasium, the newly renovated former Grade II listed gymnasium in King’s Cross.
The historical buidling is re-opening with a brand new 447-cover complex comprising a ground floor grand café, an outdoor terrace, a restaurant, bars and private dining spaces.
Blue Marlin Ibiza at Novikov
Blue Marlin, one of Ibiza’s most popular beach clubs and restaurants will be popping up at Novikov in Mayfair for a series of 11 events from November to April 2016.
‘Pop YOU Up’ will ‘showcase a blend of music and contemporary art… with visual artists, performers and DJs.’
Les Couilles du Chien
Michelin-starred restaurant Arbutus on Frith Street in Soho launched a new bar inside the restaurant.
Les Couilles du Chien will serve wines from a ‘Coravin’, making excellent wines available by the glass. There will also be a new bar menu available.
Noble Rot
The team behind Noble Rot magazine will open a restaurant and wine bar on Lamb’s Conduit Street. The menu will be overseen by Stephen Harris of The Sportsman in Kent.
The Ninth
Chef Jun Tanaka opens his first standalone restaurant, but ‘The Ninth’ he’s worked at during his career, on Charlotte Street this month.
Spread over two floors, The Ninth will offer ‘neighbourhood dining’ ‘marrying a simple yet refined French-Mediterranean sharing menu with an approachable vibe and casual friendly service’.
The Ivy Café, Marylebone
Opening on 3 November 2015, The Ivy Café will offer an all-day neighbourhood restaurant for the residents of Marylebone.
The café-style menu will have something for every occasion: breakfast, elevenses, brunch, lunch, afternoon snacks, cream tea and dinner!
45 Jermyn St
45 Jermyn St has opened in St. James’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night supper.
The 113-cover restaurant has both table and counter dining options with a menu offering ‘modern London cuisine’, a selection of cocktails and an extensive wine list.
