New London Hotels Opening in 2024
The Emery London
The Maybourne Hotel Group (Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley), is launching a new addition to the group with the opening of The Emory, its fourth hotel in the capital.
The Emory is designed by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour and will be located in Knightsbridge next to The Berkeley.
The all-suite hotel will offer 60 suites set over 9 floors complete with an impressive penthouse. With a 360-degree view of the capital, the hotel’s rooftop will be the jewel in its crown – an entirely private space dedicated to hotel guests only.
The restaurant will be led by renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten (ABC Kitchen) and there will be a newly created wellness space with a 22-metre pool.
Park Hyatt River Thames
Park Hyatt will make its UK debut along the River Thames in 2024.
Firstly, Park Hyatt will open its 103 branded residences, followed by the opening of the first Park Hyatt Hotel in the UK later in the year.
With distinct architecture, raised ceilings, and unique decor, the Park Hyatt River Thames will be a focal point in Central London’s skyline. The waterside destination features multiple restaurants, a wine bar and a spa.
New Worldwide Hotels Opening in 2024
Regent Santa Monica Beach
Located a few steps from Santa Monica Pier and following a complete transformation, the Regent Santa Monica Beach will feature tranquil rooms and suites, along with a beachfront pool deck with multiple pools and a destination spa and wellness centre.
Amenities include an artisanal marketplace, celebrity chef restaurant and SoCal-style spa and treatments.
The Surrey – A Corinthia Hotel, New York
Opening this year on the Upper East Side, the 16-story building will offer 70 guest rooms, 30 suites and 14 residences, which draw inspiration from the hotel’s history and surroundings.
Four Signature suites will be inspired by the bridges of Central Park, with comfort and elegance at its core.
Amenities will include new food and drink options through a collaboration with Miami-based hospitality company Casa Tua.
Six Senses La Sagesse
The Six Senese La Sagesse is located in Grenada and will have 56 pool suites with contemporary interiors featuring open-plan bedrooms with an outdoor terrace leading to a private plunge pool.
In addition, there will be 15 villas with hillside or beachfront settings, ranging between one, two and four bedrooms.
The resorts amenities will include a signature restaurant, an all-day-dining restaurant, a pool-side bar and a café all serving Caribbean and South American cuisines and a Six Senses spa set over two floors.
The Ritz Carlton Rabat Dar es Salaam
The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam, is scheduled to open early this year. The hotel is set in 440 acres of an oak forest and landscaped gardens, and it is only minutes from Rabat.
The resort will include 117 guestrooms and villas, six restaurants and lounges, a spa with eight treatment rooms and a traditional hammam, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, a jogging track, and exclusive access to the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam and its 3 golf courses.
Waldorf Astoria Seychelles
Hilton’s luxury hotel brand, Waldorf Astoria, is set to open its first hotel in the Seychelles this year.
The Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island will offer 59 seafront villas with private pools.
Guests will have access to six restaurants and bars, a spa, kids’ club, outdoor observatory, tennis courts and a marine conservation discovery centre.
The island is situated 130 km south of Mahé and is renowned as a nature lover’s paradise, covered with palm forest and surrounded by a coral reef and lagoon accessed by air.
Soneva Secret
Soneva has opened a new resort located in Haa Dhaalu in the Maldives, featuring 14 beach and overwater villas, including lagoon villas accessible only by boat, and a unique villa – the Castaway – the Maldives’s first floating villa.
The resort has a dedicated private chef for each villa who will devise bespoke menus that guests can enjoy in the privacy and comfort of the villa or enjoyed outdoors.
The resort also has other dining options and experiences including Out of This World, a castaway dining tower, observatory and wine cellar in the lagoon, reachable by zipline and a toes-in-the-sand firepit dining experience at So Primitive.
Raffles Sentosa
Over 135 years after the original Raffles opened its doors, the second Raffles in Singapore will be an all-villa hotel set in more than 100,000 square metres of tropical gardens with views over the South China Sea.
The 62 villas will range in size from 260 square metres for the one-bedroom villas to 450 square metres for the four-bedroom villa, all with their own private pool and terrace.
InterContinental Crete
InterContinental Crete will open later this year.
With views across the Mirabello Bay and directly accessible from the seafront, the hotel will feature 205 rooms all of which will have private verandas and half of the rooms will have private jacuzzies.
Hotel amenities will include four restaurants, three bars and a range of facilities including a leisure centre, pool terrace, indoor spa, infinity pool deck and rooftop pool.
Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella
Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella will open in the Costa del Sol following a full refurbishment.
Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella will feature 178 rooms and suites, four restaurants and bars and a wide range of leisure activities including two swimming pools, a gym, tennis courts and a spa.
The hotel is situated 500m from the beach in a quiet, exclusive area of Marbella which is easily accessible by car.
One&Only Kea Island
Occupying a 65-hectare beachfront site on the west side of Kéa island in the Cyclades and conveniently located near Athens, One&Only Kéa Island promises guests discretion and seclusion.
Guests will arrive via private yacht or helicopter. The resort will have 75 villas along with private residences.
Facilities will include three restaurants and two bars, a fully equipped fitness centre with indoor and outdoor space, and a wellness-focused spa.
Romazzino, A Belmond hotel, Sardinia
In 2024, Belmond will expand to Sardinia with Romazzino, A Belmond Hotel, Costa Smeralda.
Sardinia’s original beach hotel will offer 100 guest rooms including suites and villas, two swimming pools, and a variety of restaurants.
Rosewood Amsterdam
Rosewood Amsterdam will open in 2024 as Rosewood’s first property in the Netherlands, housed in the former Palace of Justice overlooking one of the city’s most beautiful waterways.
Ideally situated near many of Amsterdam’s attractions, the hotel will offer 134 guestrooms and suites, many with beautiful views across the canals, quiet courtyards, and iconic city rooftops.
Amenities at the hotel will include three restaurants and bars, an Asaya Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and an indoor swimming pool.
