New York Peruvian restaurant Llama Inn comes to London, L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon is reborn, Bob Bob Ricard has a sibling and much more.

Forza Wine

Peckham’s rooftop wine bar Forza Wine will open at the National Theatre on September 7, bringing natural wines and Italian snacks to an iconic London landmark.

The space will have one of the best terraces in London with incredible views of the city.

Llama Inn

New York restaurant Llama Inn will open in London in September, bringing its modern Peruvian cuisine to the rooftop space at The Hoxton hotel in Shoreditch.

Dishes will include pork shoulder bun with sweet potato, crispy squid with yuca and rocoto, and arroz con mariscos.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Celebrated French restaurant L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon will return to London on September 15, having closed in Covent Garden in 2019, just a year after Joël Robuchon died at the age of 73.

The restaurant will take over the site of casual sister site Le Comptoir Robuchon in Mayfair. 

EVE

September 13 will see the launch of EVE, a new restaurant, bar and café in Kensington.

The concept, from White Rabbit Projects – Lina Stores, Kricket, Island Poké and co. – will feature Mediterranean cooking with a focus on vegetables, grilled meats and seafood.  

65a 

A new brasserie-style restaurant for Spitalfields Market, 65a will open its doors on 12th September.

From Executive Chef Maura Baxter, 65a will have a classic French menu with dishes of hand-dived coquilles St Jacques and fillet steak with Café de Paris butter.

Geode

A new late-night restaurant from ex-Novikov restaurateurs Salvatore Broccu and Marios Louvaris will open in Knightsbridge this month.

Located in a 7,000 sq ft. townhouse, Geode will serve Mediterranean and Asian-style dishes in a ‘luxurious’ setting set to capture the ‘old school glamour of Knightsbridge’.

Ixchel

This September sees the launch of Ixchel, a Mexican restaurant and Tequila bar opening in Chelsea.

Diners and drinkers will be transported to the Yucatan peninsula as Ixchel brings a taste of Tulum to the Kings Road.

Bébé Bob

From the team behind Bob Bob Ricard comes Bébé Bob where the menu focuses on rotisserie chicken, which is the only main course available, served whole with chicken jus and carved tableside, alongside sides like truffle french fries.

LAVO Ristorante                    

LAVO Ristorante is part of the TAO Restaurant group which now also includes Hakkasan and Yauatcha.

The London restaurant will be part of The BoTree hotel which will shortly open in Marylebone this month.

The menu will focus on a coastal Italian menu.    

64 Goodge Street

From the team behind restaurants Quality Chop House, Portland and Clipstone, comes 64 Goodge Street, which opened in August.

The menu is described as ‘French cooking from an outsider’s perspective’ with dishes such as half a Basque chicken ballotine, girolles, tarragon & Savagnin and Lobster vol-au-vent & sauce Américaine. 

Origin City

Origin City is the family-run restaurant from the team behind 56 West Smithfield Wine Bar & Shop.

The restaurant is a representation of the family’s passions, fused together to bring an authentic pasture to plate, note to tail dining experience. 

All of the meat comes from the family’s organic farm in Argyll, Scotland and all of the seafood comes from their aquafarm, Loch Fyne Oyster.
