These terms and conditions refer to the procedures and terms that apply when Bon Vivant (Travel) Limited (“Bon Vivant”) is acting as your booking agent.

The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bon Vivant. The term “you” refers to the customer visiting our website, booking a reservation through us or otherwise using our services

Products and Suppliers

We arrange a variety of travel related products from different suppliers and service providers (“Supplier”). Each Supplier has its own terms and condition that are applicable to your particular arrangements in addition to our general terms and conditions, and you should make sure you understand them.

Bon Vivant is acting as an intermediary or a “Booking Agent” for products and services that are not directly supplied by us (e.g., air carriage and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). We are not a co-vendor of such products and services. You will be entering into a separate contract with such Suppliers in connection with such products and services.

Credit Card Guarantees, Deposits and Payments

When making a booking, if no deposit or prepayment is required, a credit card will need to be provided to the Supplier to guarantee the hotel or travel services. The credit card provided at the time of booking will be used to make payment to and by the Supplier in the event of any late cancellations or no-shows.

Any deposits required will be paid by you directly to the Supplier and are subject to the Supplier’s terms and conditions.

Confirmations

When asking Bon Vivant to book a hotel or travel services, you are agreeing to be bound by the Suppliers’ terms and conditions, which will be listed in the confirmation email that will be forwarded by Bon Vivant or sent directly from the Supplier.

It is your responsibility to check the details listed on these confirmations and to adhere to their rules and policies.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately.

Cancellations and Changes

Any cancellations will need to be made by email and must adhere to the cancellation policy as stated on the confirmation email from the Supplier. It is your responsibility to cancel in-line with these policies, knowing that you may be charged if you do not comply.

Where a change requested by you to your travel arrangements is permitted and possible, additional Supplier charges may apply. Please note that all reservation changes are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the product purchased.

Your contract with your Suppliers may allow them to cancel or amend bookings. If we are your Booking Agent, we will ensure that you are promptly notified of any significant changes once we become aware of such change if there is time before your departure, but we accept no liability for any changes or costs incurred that may result.

Flights and Air Transportation

Unless otherwise advised at the time of booking, all flight costs are non-refundable.

We have no control over airline schedule changes and accept no liability for costs that may arise as a result of such changes.

It is your responsibility to check the status of your flight and to check for any schedule changes or cancellations. It is your responsibility to check-in and to abide by the airlines’ own policies.

Complaints

If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant Supplier (e.g. your hotel) immediately. Should they be unable to resolve the matter, please immediately contact us at Bon Vivant.

Passport, Visa and Immigration Requirements

It is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You should confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. We do not accept any responsibility in the case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out adequate insurance for the duration of your journey. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance in place.

Travel Advice and Vaccinations

Prior to booking international travel, we recommend that you review any Government prohibitions, warnings and advisories applicable to your destinations. By offering travel to any particular destination, we do not represent that travel in such destination is safe or without risk.

U.K. Citizens should refer to the travel advice posted by the U.K. Foreign & Commonwealth Office for all the countries you intend to visit.

Vaccinations may be required for some or all of the places you are intending to visit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have arranged all necessary vaccinations for your itinerary.
