{"id":5242,"date":"2012-09-26T17:22:32","date_gmt":"2012-09-26T16:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bonvivant.co.uk\/old_blog\/?p=5242"},"modified":"2012-09-26T17:22:32","modified_gmt":"2012-09-26T16:22:32","slug":"colbert-restaurant-sloane-square","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bonvivant.co.uk\/journal\/colbert-restaurant-sloane-square\/","title":{"rendered":"Colbert Restaurant, Sloane Square"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With two of London&#8217;s hottest openings of recent times opening within the last year (<a title=\"The Delaunay\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bonvivant.co.uk\/journal\/the-delaunay-new-restaurant-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Delaunay<\/a> in Aldwych and <a title=\"Brasserie Zedel\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bonvivant.co.uk\/journal\/brasserie-zedel-to-open-in-june-2012\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brasserie Zedel<\/a> in Soho) they are back again with Colbert on Sloane square.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the great French pavement caf\u00e9s, Colbert Restaurant is an informal, neighbourhood restaurant at the heart of Sloane Square.<\/p>\n<p>Colbert opens early for breakfast and continues to serve food and drinks throughout the day until post-theatre.<\/p>\n<p>The menu at Colbert Restaurant includes a large selection of Eggs (sur plat, brouill\u00e9s, omelettes, Eggs Royale\/Benedict and Florentine) and Croques (including Monsieur, Madame, and also Grand Monsieur, Croque New York, Croque Raclette and Croque Proven\u00e7ale).<\/p>\n<p>The menu is full of other Parisian caf\u00e9 stalwarts executed very well, such as Salade de Magret Fum\u00e9, Bayonne Ham with Celeriac R\u00e9moulade, Steak Diane, Moules Marini\u00e8re, and Cassoulet de Canard.<\/p>\n<p>Colbert restaurant has seating for 118 with an additional 22 on the terrace and the interiors were designed by Shayne Brady of <a title=\"David Collins Studio\" href=\"http:\/\/www.davidcollins.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Collins Studio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Colbert Restaurant follows its sister restaurants in being wonderfully atmospheric with the buzz of regular, happy diners.<\/p>\n<p>Address: Colbert Restaurant, 50-52 Sloane Square London SW1W 8AX<\/p>\n<p>Sign up to our blog below as we visits some of the best restaurants in London.
