The latest addition to London’s hotel bar scene<\/a>, the bar at Rosewood London<\/a> feel welcoming, homely and utterly stylish.<\/p>\n

With an open fire and book shelves as walls, it’s a bar that you could return to night after night.<\/p>\n

Take a seat in one of the wing-back chairs, on the seats in front of the fire or on the rocking chair and enjoy a great cocktail list while listening to a live music performance that creates an enchanting evening.<\/p>\n

The Zetter Townhouse<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The venue is designed around \u2018Aunt Wilhelmina\u2019, a crazy old aunt whose trinkets and artefacts from her global travels make the Zetter the most unusual venue I\u2019ve been to in a long time.<\/p>\n

The cocktail menu is short but perfectly formed.<\/p>\n

Each cocktail is the result of a specific concept, and is the product of multiple experiments a lab to get the final libation just right.<\/p>\n

Expect unusual ingredients, and the influence of many different techniques and fields, making The Zetter Townhouse<\/a> a contender for one of the best cocktail bars in London.<\/p>\n

Smokey Kudu<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Smokey Kudu is an intimate cocktail bar housed under the arches at Queens Road station in Peckham.<\/p>\n

It is the first standalone bar from couple Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams and a short walk away from their excellent restaurant Kudu.<\/p>\n

The 37-cover cocktail bar features a central horseshoe shaped bar topped with pink marble and a giant glass chandelier.<\/p>\n

Smokey Kudu is open in the evenings only Wednesday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Hawksmoor Bar<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The new Hawksmoor Bar<\/a> in the basement of the original Hawksmoor Spitalfields on Commercial Street is a very fashionable and glamorous affair. A strip club was first turned into a fruit store and this spring has been reborn as a beautiful 60-cover bar.<\/p>\n

The bar is dark, mysterious and funky with an excellent food offering to match, as you\u2019d expect from one of London\u2019s best steakhouses.<\/p>\n

Bar Termini, Soho<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Based on the Italian caf\u00e9s and Roma Termini in the fifties, Bar Termini<\/a> is an intimate all-day cocktail and coffee bar<\/a> on Old Compton Street in Soho.<\/p>\n

Bar Termini was opened by drinks industry legend, Tony Conigliaro in 2014, along with friends Marco Arrigo (also head of UK quality at Illy coffee) and tattoo artist Mo Coppolletta.<\/p>\n

Lyaness is the ground floor cocktail bar at the Sea Containers hotel on the South Bank.<\/p>\n

Callooh Callay<\/a> has an imaginative cocktail menu featuring old favourites and classics in an eclectic space that is as quirky and nonsensical as the Lewis Carroll poem from which it takes its name.<\/p>\n

The classy and bijou 69 Colebrooke Row has caused quite a stir on London\u2019s cocktail scene over the last year.<\/p>\n

Chic Mayfair restaurant, LPM, has just launched an experiential cocktail menu in celebration of the life of French artist, writer, and bon vivant, Jean Cocteau.<\/p>\n

Available in the main restaurant but best enjoyed in their hidden bar, the cocktail menu is eclectic and goes in to so much detail you really do get swept up in the story telling as you make your way through the 12 cocktails.<\/p>\n

Try the Lettre a\u0300 Coco, representing the special friendship between Jean and Coco Chanel, a vodka-based cocktail made with Ketel One, Champagne cordial, jasmine, bergamot & rose.<\/p>\n

Downstairs at Morito, is a new bar underneath Morito\u00a0 on Hackney Road.<\/p>\n

This warm and welcoming spot serves the same Southern Spanish, North African and Easten Mediterranean dishes as in the restaurant upstairs, but with a casual late-night bar atmosphere and an added focus on cocktails.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, with ticketed Morito Music nights running every Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Donovan Bar<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Donovan Bar at Brown\u2019s Hotel in Mayfair is cool, stylish and buzzy.<\/p>\n
