Another recent addition to the London hotel scene, The London Edition is the latest hotel from Ian Schrager in collaboration with Marriott Hotels. The lobby bar is gorgeous with high ceilings and a dramatic chandelier in the centre of the room.

Mr Fogg’s

Named after Verne’s literary creation, Phileas Fogg, Mr Fogg’s is an eclectic affair with a host of artefacts and trinkets from the protagonist’s fictional trip around the world in 80 days.

The piano and fireplace create a welcoming ambience and the inventive and well-executed cocktails make for an enjoyable and worldly evening.

Sager + Wilde

Sager + Wilde is a wine bar brought to you by husband and wife team Michael and Charlotte Sager-Wilde in the wake of last year’s successful pop-up on Old Street.

Blind Pig at Social Eating House

The Blind Pig, on the first floor of Social Eating House in Soho, is a smart vintage cocktail bar serving nicely presented cocktails courtesy of resident mixologist Gareth Evans.

The bar serves an array of tempting bites and jars, such as duck fat chips, pork rillettes and smoked mackerel pâté.
